The Geoinformatics Team of the Institute of Geography at the University of Tübingen works and researches with and about spatial data (geodata). The following focal points are dealt with:

• urban space – remote sensing, GIS analysis and sustainability concepts
• glacier monitoring with radar images
• application of geodatabases
• university teaching on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing
• professional university education to the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) ‘Geodata Manager’
