Over the past twelve months, participants in the 2024/25 School for Talents cohort have explored the theme "Expanding Realities – New Visions." With a strong focus on human interaction with AI, they have investigated how technology can enhance our daily lives and shape the future.
To inspire their projects, students engaged in a variety of immersive experiences:
- A visit to the High-Performance Computing Center in Vaihingen
- A deep dive into history at IBM’s Computer Museum in Böblingen
- An exploration of cutting-edge research at Bosch’s Research Campus in Renningen
- A thought-provoking exhibition at Schauwerk, on our symbiotic relationship with AI
- A workshop at VISUS, applying augmented and virtual reality to real-world scenarios
- Insights into predictive simulations with SimTech
Along the way, our students had many opportunities to reflect on what makes humans truly "smart" in the age of intelligent machines. Now, after months of collaboration, they are ready to present their own visions for the future. Seven dynamic pitches will take you on a journey through their ideas - offering fresh perspectives on what drives young changemakers, where they see value, and how they envision expanding our realities.
Come and be inspired by the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers! We will celebrate the occassion with networking over snacks and drinks after the pitches!
